About the Role

Xtrava Group is seeking a seasoned Key Account Director to spearhead our European expansion efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to penetrate and grow relationships with key German OEMs in the food processing and packaging industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with OEMs and End Users at various stages, building and maintaining relationships with high-level procurement and technical contacts at corporate offices and plant level.
  • Create and present professional consultative sales pitches tailored to each customer's specific needs and pain points.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with customers and attend industry events, with an estimated travel of 30%.
Requirements
  • Around 10 years of proven sales experience.
  • Track record in corporate, national, or global key account development is critical. Ability to proactively identify and pursue new customer prospects.
  • Focus on understanding customer needs and creating tailored solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to interact with senior procurement teams and plant level engineers.
  • Experience in engineered products, particularly in food processing and packaging machinery, is beneficial.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Experience in influencing specifications at the OEM level and managing long-term sales cycles.
  • Ability to coordinate complex, medium/long-term sales cycles.
