Offshore Service Operations Coordinator

As a key member of our Service team, you will be engaged in offshore operations on our Service Operation Vessel (SOV) for the Offshore Wind Farm Deutsche Bucht, which comprises 31 x V164 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 8.4 MW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless operation of wind turbines and effective utilization of our systems.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Execute a variety of inspections, repairs, and component replacements on turbine systems.
- Plan and coordinate daily service tasks in collaboration with the Offshore Service Supervisor.
- Organize transfers for the vessel and O&M team.
- Monitor and assess weather conditions.
- Prepare transfer plans and daily operational reports.
- Create and manage work orders in SAP and approve technician hours.
- Maintain and update the planning board for operations.
- Assist in the implementation of new procedures and processes.
- Plan annual service and maintenance schedules.
- Contribute to the Monthly Customer Report.
- Ensure the implementation of upgrades and improvements.
- Collaborate with customer representatives to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Lead and support the offshore engineering team.
- Conduct fault finding and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Complete scheduled services on wind turbines.
- Adhere to Vestas Health and Safety Management protocols.
- Provide general support to the Service Manager.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capable of positively influencing and leading team members.
- Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work offshore at heights.
- Completed training as an electrician, electrical technician, or mechatronics engineer (EFK appointment possible).
- Experience in the wind and/or offshore industry is preferred.
- Previous leadership experience and familiarity with medium or high voltage systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in English and German, both spoken and written.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
