Offshore Operations Coordinator

The Vestas Service Offshore organization is responsible for the operation and maintenance of offshore windfarms in Northern and Central Europe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.

You will be part of a new team for the He Dreiht wind farm, consisting of x V- MW turbines with a total capacity of MW in the German North Sea. Your main tasks will include:

  • Coordinating service operations on site
  • Preparing daily reports
  • Creating service work orders in ERP (SAP)
  • Planning annual service and maintenance
  • Maintaining Shadow Data
  • Ensuring implementation of upgrades
  • Providing general support to the SOV Shift Leader and Service Manager
  • Ensuring outstanding documentation of works (internally and externally)

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in electrical engineering from a technical school/college/university
  • Profound experience in a similar position
  • Several years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
  • Professional wind turbine or similar experience
  • Willingness to travel to other sites when required
  • Good English and German skills in reading/writing, basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Full driving license
