Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and culturally aware intern to support our festival initiatives. You will work closely with our Sales team and Festival Manager, gaining invaluable insights into the film industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on film festivals and their submission processes.
- Assist in submitting our films to various festivals.
- Contribute to the development of festival strategies.
- Negotiate screening fees and manage schedules for festival meetings.
- Prepare and provide necessary materials for festivals and distributors.
- Support talent coordination for promotional events.
- Help organize events such as premieres and networking gatherings.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least two additional languages (French, Italian, German, or Japanese preferred).
- A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cultural industries is advantageous.
- An interest in the technical aspects of film production.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with databases.
- Comfort in engaging with diverse professionals across various sectors.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to tasks.
