This position is perfect for individuals interested in the administrative, financial, and organizational aspects of the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities- Support in the preparation, coordination, and execution of festival sales from initial contact to invoicing.
- Handle festival inquiries from the first request.
- Negotiate screening fees and deliver materials to festivals post-sale.
- Update and maintain festival strategies with new invitations and contacts.
- Update and maintain thematic festival databases.
- Document ongoing and completed festival projects.
- Maintain and manage internal license management systems, particularly the software FilmTrack, following established workflows.
- Support the maintenance and development of customer and partner relationships.
- Prepare and present work reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Media Business, Marketing, Communication, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in the film and television industry, preferably in distribution or festival sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and business-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Keen interest in the film industry and festival operations.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to gain professional experience in the administrative aspects of the international distribution process. This side of the entertainment industry requires organizational skills and excellent self-management.
