Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of festival sales from initial outreach to invoicing.
- Manage festival inquiries from the initial request stage.
- Negotiate screening fees and ensure the delivery of materials to festivals following sales.
- Revise and maintain festival strategies with new invitations and contacts.
- Update and manage thematic festival databases.
- Document ongoing and completed festival initiatives.
- Oversee and manage internal licensing management systems, particularly utilizing the software FilmTrack, adhering to established workflows.
- Support the cultivation and enhancement of customer and partner relationships.
- Prepare and present work reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Media Business, Marketing, Communication, or related disciplines.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in the film and television sector, ideally in distribution or festival sales.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Proactive, self-driven, and business-focused mindset.
- Strong organizational capabilities, skilled in managing multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines.
- Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Genuine interest in the film industry and festival operations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
