Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team in the Project Management Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical and functional safety standards for heavy duty fuel cell systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and prepare documentation of work.
- Collaborate closely with HW & SW departments, development specialists, project management, sales, and quality teams.
- Lead and supervise cooperation with external consultants, customers, and suppliers, including occasional international travel.
Requirements:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work pragmatically and in a solution-oriented manner.
- Professional experience in electrical power systems, the automotive industry, or safety technology.
- Quick grasp and basic understanding of technological contexts and their evaluation.
- Familiarity with common safety standards (e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and experience with fuel cells is an asset.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
