As a key member of the Trustworthy Shopping Experience team at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our product catalog in the EU.
You will lead a team of product experts, risk, and program managers in designing and implementing processes to protect our customers. This includes partnering with various Amazon teams, such as Legal, Risk Operations, Software Development, Applied Science, Selling Partner Services, Catalog, Product Quality, Public Policy, and Public Relations.
You will be responsible for building the strategy and executing the operational plan for product safety, designing and improving policies in partnership with Legal, Business, and Risk Operations to protect our customers. You will also identify and de-risk emerging new product categories and safety trends, evaluate and implement new product regulations in the UK and Europe, and measure and improve the effectiveness of our product controls and safety processes.
Engagement with regulatory partners and industry associations is also a key aspect of this role. You will work closely with selling partners, customers, brands, and regulators across the Amazon stores in the UK and EU to ensure that all our products are safe, authentic, and compliant for customers.
We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a track record of building efficient processes that combine human expertise, large data sets, and software tools to scale. You should have a strong background in program, product, or operations management, as well as experience managing teams and working in e-commerce, product safety, or risk management.
Bachelor's degree and business proficiency in English and one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Italian, or German are required. A Master's degree and experience with high-scale technology programs are preferred.
