Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Outbound/Inbound and warehouse planning departments. Key responsibilities include staffing, training, health & safety, scheduling, order accuracy to support on-time delivery, continued improvements, and loss prevention. This role is accountable for meeting the operational goals of the Warehouse, which is in a fast growth mode. The successful candidate will be a leader who can help define the processes, procedures, and systems necessary to support and sustain our long-term growth.

What We Expect

  • On-time delivery of inbound/outbound tasks by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies/procedures
  • Driving the process to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, accuracy, quality, safety, and efficiency through employee involvement and teamwork
  • Maintaining warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning work, following up on work results, and ensuring inventory accuracy through audits and preventive actions
  • Complying with warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements
  • Directing the maintenance of physical conditions and appearance of the warehouse, including 5S
  • Recruiting, selecting, and training employees, as well as developing employee performance through appraisals, coaching, and counseling
  • Establishing safety practices and holding others accountable for adhering to them

Requirements

  • Experience in a leadership position within a warehouse environment, preferably in E-commerce and FMCG
  • Knowledge of WMS, Lean, and Six Sigma is a plus
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships in a warehouse environment
  • Good cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
  • Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for the most efficient use of time
  • Knowledgeable on safety practices and 5S best practices
  • WMS implementation background
  • High motivation and a willingness to learn and grow
