Sales Engineer for IT Security Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at TÜV NORD GROUP. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for generating customer demand for our IT security solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor current market trends and developments to identify customer needs for future-oriented services and products in the IT security segment.
- Provide targeted and sustainable customer care to our key customers, as well as market our comprehensive service portfolio, generating new and follow-up business internationally.
- Be responsible for sales figures, forecast planning, and handling tenders up to contract maturity in close cooperation with the product departments.
- Optimize our sales processes and document all sales activities in CRM tools.
- Participate in trade fairs and conferences, as well as realize presentations and workshops to round out your area of responsibility.
- You have a degree in a MINT field, preferably in Information Security, Business Informatics, or Information Technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you have extensive experience in new customer acquisition and customer care.
- You are skilled in sales psychology and applied sales methods (Strategic Selling) and confident in the offer and contract process (offer process, tender).
- You bring expertise in market and competition analysis to support the development of new services in coordination with product management, as well as IT security knowledge, e.g. in the field of software architecture, networks, biometrics, telecommunications, ideally in the context of IT security tests with standards such as Common Criteria, FIDO, BSI TR.
- You have analytical understanding, communication skills, convincing appearance, and final strength.
- You bring very good English skills in word and writing and international travel readiness.
