Business Development Manager

Lumino is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Professional to join our team and drive business growth in the German market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expand Lumino's market presence in Germany
- Develop and manage relationships with pharmacies, clinics, and medical cannabis prescribers
- Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry organizations, medical professionals, and business partners
- Build and leverage a network of key opinion leaders to advocate for Lumino's offering, ensuring strong market positioning and credibility
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the medical cannabis sector
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to meet and exceed business targets
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company objectives
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve business goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align business development efforts with overall company strategy
- Represent Lumino at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and foster relationships
- Extensive travel across Germany and some international travel will be required to meet with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical or medical cannabis industry
- Strong network and experience in working with pharmacies and key opinion leaders in Germany
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic partnerships and business relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies to meet evolving market needs
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
