About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Commercial Contract Manager. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the negotiation, drafting, and review of procurement contracts for direct and indirect materials, service agreements, CAPEX, and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead the negotiation and drafting of procurement contracts, ensuring that they meet business needs, compliance standards, and risk management requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with technical teams, colleagues in local procurement, and the legal and finance team to ensure that contracts are aligned with business objectives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments that may impact our operations and contracts.
  • Contract Performance Monitoring: Monitor and manage contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to procurement staff on contract management practices and category-specific aspects.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, IT, or a related field. Advanced studies in law, such as a Juris Doctor (JD) or a Master of Laws (LLM), especially with a concentration in contract law, commercial law, or technology law, is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in contract management and global contracts, reinforced by a healthy assertiveness.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable terms in complex high-value contracts, underpinned by a solid foundation in legal analysis and risk management.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite, as well as knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
