Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated working student to support our Banking & Regulation (B&R) team within the Controlling & Risk Management department at RWE AG. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain practical experience while studying, with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the team with daily tasks related to regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., EMIR, CFTC, REMIT).
- Review incoming invoices and facilitate the payment process.
- Manage the daily processing of existing reporting frameworks for compliance with national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory bodies for both physical and derivative transactions.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and counterparties.
- Document and maintain processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Desire to deepen knowledge of energy (commodity) trading and its regulatory landscape.
- Proficient in various software applications, particularly MS Office (especially Excel & Power BI).
- Ability to work in an international environment with proficiency in both German and English.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- Knowledge of the energy sector.
- Experience in data analysis.
