Technical Marketing Engineer for Electronics Test Instruments

About the Role

RIGOL Technologies, a leading provider of test and measurement instruments and solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team in Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing plans to increase market share, improve brand awareness, and drive revenue growth for our test instrument products.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and identify potential customers and target segments.
  • Create marketing materials, such as brochures, videos, and websites, to showcase the features and benefits of our test instrument products.
  • Support sales efforts by providing training, developing sales presentations, and proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide technical support to customers, both pre- and post-sales, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Attend industry events to network, learn about industry trends, and promote our test instrument products.
  • Analyze and report on marketing activities and ROI to the management team.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background in electronics engineering, including a good understanding of electronic circuits, digital systems, and test and measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, including market research, product positioning, pricing strategies, and sales and distribution channels.
  • Experience in sales or working closely with the sales team to develop marketing plans and strategies that support sales efforts.
  • Good understanding of the Electronics Test Instrument Industry, including the latest trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field, with a Master's degree in either Electronics Engineering or Business Administration being an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the Electronics Test Instrument Industry, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate with customers and colleagues globally.
