Rail Validation Specialist

Your Future Role

Join our team in shaping the future of rail mobility. In our Hennigsdorf location, a diverse group of 2,100 colleagues, including 800 engineers, work on a wide range of products, from high-speed to local trains and light rail vehicles. Our focus on innovation drives us towards green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Train Validation project team.
  • Oversee Train level validation activities and maintain the Validation Plan.
  • Manage the Validation Schedule and optimize the validation sequence based on design maturity and test availability.
  • Facilitate interface management for testing at the Train level.
  • Ensure timely consolidation of Train Validation commitments and performance.
  • Implement standard processes and methodologies to enhance Validation efficiency.
  • Ensure timely issuance of Validation proofs and consolidate Validation files.
  • Provide structured feedback to support costing activities and enrich the technical repository.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS rules in Validation activities.
  • Review and approve Train Test Procedures and reports.
  • Establish and organize Technical Interfaces with customers, producing necessary documentation for approval.

About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following will be beneficial:

  • Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects.
  • Knowledge of train systems and railway regulations.
  • Capability in organizing tests and familiarity with planning tools.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
