Railway Validation Specialist

Your Future Role
Join a diverse team of professionals from various backgrounds who are shaping the future of rail transport. Our locally designed, produced, and serviced range includes high-speed, regional, and urban trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line in Rolling Stock & Components features an extensive selection within the rail sector. We are committed to innovation, focusing on eco-friendly and intelligent solutions, including zero-emission propulsion technologies such as batteries and hydrogen. You will report to the Team Leader of Railway Validation and collaborate with a passionate and skilled team.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the Railway Validation project team
• Oversee the validation activities at the train level, developing and updating the Validation Plan
• Manage the Validation Timeline, optimizing the validation sequence in relation to train design, configuration readiness, and testing resources availability
• Coordinate interfaces (internal/external) relevant to testing at the train level (handover of vehicles; supplier deliverables)
• Ensure the consolidation of Railway Validation commitments and performance in a timely manner for proposals or projects
• Implement standardized processes and associated methodologies and tools to enhance validation efficiency
• Guarantee the timely issuance of validation proofs (including proofs for lower-level systems and components) and consolidate validation documentation
• Provide structured feedback to inform costing activities and enrich the technical repository of the Railway Validation domain
• Ensure compliance with EHS KPIs and regulations in validation activities
• Approve and review Railway Test Procedures/reports
• Establish and organize Technical Interfaces with clients for validation scope, producing necessary documentation and obtaining client approvals when required
About You:

• Experience in team and project leadership: managing multi-disciplinary or multi-location teams and projects, including client and external stakeholder technical management
• Knowledge of railway systems (system analysis, railways)
• Capability in organizing tests, familiarity with planning tools
• Understanding of Standards & Regulations for railways
• Proficiency in Work Package Management
• Proficient in English (knowledge of German/French is advantageous)
