Your upcoming responsibilities
Our team of over 2,100 professionals from 46 nations, including 800 technical experts, is shaping the future of transportation in our facility. The locally designed, produced, and serviced product range encompasses high-speed, regional, and urban trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line in Rolling Stock & Components features offerings from the most comprehensive portfolio in the rail sector. Our innovation strategy emphasizes sustainable and intelligent solutions, including zero-emission propulsion technologies such as battery and hydrogen systems. You will report to the Quality Assurance and Implementation leader and collaborate with a committed and passionate team.
We expect you to:
Execute quality assurance and implementation of electrical systems and mechanical components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications Conduct functional assessments, load evaluations, and performance analyses to confirm the effective operation of systems and components Develop Quality Assurance & Implementation protocols for your specialized subsystem based on established specifications to fulfill contractual obligations Collaborate with Engineering and Verification & Validation leaders to optimize site assessments and share expertise between platform and site evaluations Participate in Verification & Validation assessments in the laboratory, as needed, under the guidance of the Verification & Validation Manager Document any discrepancies encountered during site evaluations and liaise with the engineering team to resolve these issuesAbout you

Degree in engineering or a strong interest in the field (preferably in electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience in Quality Assurance & Implementation or Verification & Validation processes Proficient in English and German (reading, writing, speaking) Skilled in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and automation in quality assurance processes Adaptability and willingness to travel for occasional short-term assignments in various locations A creative approach to quality assurance Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset to address complex system challengesWhat you will appreciate
