Quality Assurance Specialist

Your Future Role
In our facility, a diverse team of over 2,100 professionals from 46 nations, including 800 engineers, is dedicated to shaping the future of rail transportation. Our locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product offerings encompass high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, trams, and light rail vehicles. Our product line in Rolling Stock & Components boasts the most extensive portfolio in the rail sector. Our innovation strategy emphasizes eco-friendly and intelligent solutions, including zero-emission propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You will report to the Quality Assurance Team Leader and collaborate with a passionate and skilled team.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare testing protocols for execution phases on vehicles and/or in testing facilities (development of testing procedures). Contribute to the design and creation of tools essential for conducting tests. Implement, verify (functional), and ensure compliance (calibration) of measurement instruments to ensure readiness for testing. Set up testing equipment and confirm that the applied configurations and prerequisites allow for testing to proceed. Adhere to EHS regulations, particularly by implementing LockOutTagOut procedures. Oversee and/or conduct testing activities, analyze results in real-time, and determine if retesting is necessary. Examine test data and compile both static and dynamic test reports.About You

Capability to execute functional tests in various domains: train-wide functions, operational functions, TCMS software functions, TCMS electrical functions, traction, braking, auxiliary supply and energy management, doors, PACIS, signaling. Experience in TCMS development and/or validation. Familiarity with Functional Safety testing. Understanding of electrical versus software design in trains, with proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with interfaces and stakeholders. Quality-focused work ethic. Proficiency in English and German (French is a plus). Knowledge of hardware and software components in rail vehicles is advantageous.
