About the Role

As a Corporate Banking Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and success within our client portfolio, with a particular focus on businesses engaged in international trade. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding exporters through complex transactions and navigating the intricacies of emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Actively cultivate relationships with new and existing corporate clients, identifying opportunities to expand their financial solutions portfolio. Focus on engaging businesses involved in international trade, particularly those exploring emerging market corridors.
  • Trade Finance Expertise: Provide expert advice to exporters on securing their trade transactions in emerging markets. This includes structuring international trade deals and leveraging appropriate financing instruments.
  • Capital Goods Financing: Identify and acquire projects suitable for long-term capital goods financing under ECA (Export Credit Agency) cover. Actively participate in preparing comprehensive financing offers tailored to client needs.
  • Digital & Innovative Solutions: Analyze customer potential within your portfolio to identify opportunities for sustainable, innovative, and digital financing and treasury solutions. This includes budget responsibility for a select group of medium-sized companies in the DACH region.
  • Credit Risk Management: Independently assess creditworthiness, earnings potential, and cross-selling opportunities for clients, ensuring alignment with bank goals and risk management policies.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Effectively collaborate with product specialists and regional managers to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Represent the bank at internal and external customer events.
