Your Role in Our Vision
We are seeking a Service Technician (f/m/x) specializing in Troubleshooting and Maintenance for our Business Unit Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Begin your journey as a Troubleshooter on D7-7.0 and D8-8.8, with opportunities to advance to SG10-10.0 / SG10-11.0.
- Provide status updates and risk assessments to all relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct scheduled service procedures on offshore wind turbines independently.
- Diagnose and resolve common and significant faults in electrical and mechanical systems of offshore turbines, where appropriately trained.
- Deliver on-the-job training and assess the competency of individuals involved in troubleshooting tasks.
- Execute unscheduled maintenance tasks as required.
- Enhance your troubleshooting expertise on-site with experienced colleagues.
- Lead small teams, ensuring safety, competency, and productivity among Trainees, Maintenance Technicians, and Contractors.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, reporting technical and safety issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols as outlined by company policy.
- Participate in remote assistance call arrangements.
What You Bring to the Table
A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving change.
- Proven experience as a Troubleshooter or a solid background in similar roles.
- Strong working knowledge of the wind industry, preferably in offshore environments, covering commissioning and service activities.
- Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on the DD platform.
- Willingness to work offshore in shift patterns.
- Openness to Helicopter training and travel to wind turbine locations.
- Ability to manage administrative responsibilities independently and systematically.
- Strong intercultural skills and a collaborative approach to working in diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
