Position: Senior Customs Operations Coordinator (m/f/d):
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to established customs processes in collaboration with clients and operational teams.
- Guarantee compliance of customs entries with all applicable regulations and AEO standards.
- Address and resolve customs-related challenges effectively.
- Cultivate relationships with local customs authorities.
- Participate in customs meetings and keep the organization informed of relevant updates.
- Drive initiatives aimed at process enhancement and optimization.
- Conduct data integrity assessments to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Assist in the onboarding of new business operations or revised processes.
- Develop, maintain, and validate client-specific work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure that all key performance indicators (KPIs) align with client expectations.
- Monitor team performance to meet both client and internal deadlines.
- Regularly review and refine process flows, documenting improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing practices.
- Oversee the updating of all necessary data in internal or client systems as per established procedures.
- Generate reports as required by clients and internal stakeholders.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with additional qualifications in supply chain management being advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within customs operations.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding processes.
- In-depth understanding of operational procedures within the relevant country.
- Experience with the system 'CM ZABIS - BluJay/e2Open' is a plus.
- Ability to swiftly adapt to evolving policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in both German and English is required.
