Network Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities- Engage with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather and clarify project needs and goals related to network design.
- Perform thorough evaluations of current IT and OT network systems to guide the design and planning stages for project implementations.
- Craft comprehensive network architecture blueprints customized to project requirements, taking into account system integration, performance enhancement, and cybersecurity measures.
- Generate project-specific network schematics, documentation, and execution plans detailing proposed architectures, configurations, and resource needs.
- Offer technical insight and support throughout project execution, ensuring compliance with design standards, industry best practices, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to acquire necessary equipment, oversee installations, and carry out testing and validation of network solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in network architecture design and implementation within project rollout settings, emphasizing IT and OT integration.
- In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless communication.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, PLCs, and other operational technologies prevalent in manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of managing complex network rollout initiatives from start to finish.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, capable of effectively collaborating in cross-functional teams and managing project stakeholders.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, CCNA, CCNP, and CompTIA Project+.
