Global Automotive Category Leader

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, execute, and oversee the comprehensive category strategy on a global scale.
  • Offer strategic direction to Category Buyers, aiding them in reaching established objectives.
  • Establish benchmarks for negotiation processes.
  • Lead global contract negotiations with a focus on optimal outcomes.
  • Functionally guide the category team and enhance the category network within the FUCHS Group.
  • Evaluate and refine supplier relationships and raw material portfolios, implementing necessary actions.
  • Strategically manage supplier partnerships.

Qualifications We Seek:

  • Degree in business, industrial engineering, or chemistry.
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement or category management in a regional or global context, or in a comparable role such as B2B Sales, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Strong sense of accountability and capability to operate autonomously.
  • Results-driven approach with robust strategic thinking abilities.
  • Collaborative individual with outstanding communication skills, capable of influencing various hierarchical levels to reconcile differing interests in global matrix organizations.
  • Proactive, resolute, organized, and solution-focused work ethic.
  • Fluency in both German and English, with a readiness to travel internationally.
