Lead Information Security Strategist

Schulz & Cie. Consulting GmbH is seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Chief Information Security Officer. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and security of our information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assist management in establishing and modifying the information security framework while providing guidance on all matters related to information security.
- Develop information security policies and any additional necessary regulations.
- Implement compliance controls to ensure adherence to information security policies and oversee compliance with IT service providers.
- Contribute to the formulation and revision of the emergency response plan concerning IT-related issues.
- Initiate and oversee information security initiatives.
- Engage in IT-related projects to ensure security considerations are integrated.
- Act as the primary contact for information security inquiries within the organization and with external parties.
- Conduct investigations into information security incidents and report findings to management.
- Facilitate awareness and training programs on information security.
- Provide regular updates to management, at least quarterly, regarding the status of information security, along with any urgent updates as necessary.
This role is particularly relevant for professionals with experience in:
- Financial institutions
- Banking sectors
- FinTech companies
- Securities firms
- A minimum of several years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in an auditing firm or within a financial institution regulated by BaFin.
