Your Role
The Business Information Security (InfoSec) Enablement team at ZEISS Group is dedicated to enhancing corporate information security with a strong focus on business support and enablement. This global initiative aims to assist ZEISS Business Segments and Units in implementing a strategic agenda that prioritizes security by design, aligning with customer needs and the overarching ZEISS information security strategy. The team is committed to leading global initiatives that bolster Business Segment's Information Security programs, fostering synergy and standardization across ZEISS. The ultimate goal is to empower Business Segments and Units to deliver secure and resilient business solutions and products efficiently while meeting customer expectations regarding information security.
As a Senior Digital InfoSec Architect, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise-level information security architecture and technological solutions, ensuring security is integrated from the outset and facilitating secure digital transformation.
Your Responsibilities
Define and establish our digital business security architecture for Digital & Data capabilities, creating security architecture artifacts such as models, templates, standards, and procedures to enhance security capabilities in projects and operations. Ensure that security architecture frameworks and standards align with the overall digital business strategy. Act as an information security expert and trusted advisor to both IT and business partners. Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, functional area architects, and security specialists to ensure the implementation of relevant and effective security solutions across all digital systems and platforms. Provide insights on security architecture for digital transformation strategies, reference architectures, multi-year architecture roadmaps, and investment planning. Contribute to the alignment of security governance with digital capabilities. Conduct research into emerging technologies, architectures, and security products to meet the security requirements of the digital enterprise, its customers, business partners, and vendors. Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the information security strategy. Analyze the business impact and exposure related to emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.Your Profile
A professional background in Information Security, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, or SABSA are advantageous. Proven experience in developing security architecture artifacts and reference architectures for digital, data, and IoT platforms, preferably within the manufacturing sector or a similar field. Experience in managing third-party service and technology providers throughout various lifecycle stages. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and articulate digital security architecture concepts to business and technology leaders. A collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, multicultural internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in communicating complex technical issues to varied audiences in a clear, authoritative, and actionable manner. Extensive knowledge of various digital application architectures and the supporting cloud infrastructures. Understanding of how emerging business and end-user technologies impact information security requirements and architecture. Ability to foster collaborative relationships outside the IT function with various stakeholders.
