About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Project Manager to join our team at EWE NETZ GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our geographic information systems (GIS) projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of GIS projects, including the design, development, and deployment of GIS applications and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Manage and maintain our GIS infrastructure, including data management, system administration, and technical support.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on GIS-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as geoinformatics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in GIS project management, with a strong background in GIS software development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with GIS software, programming languages, and data management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
