IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated IT Infrastructure Specialist (m/w/d) to join our IT Services department. This role is designed for full-time engagement and offers a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, management, maintenance, and documentation of the client/server infrastructure, primarily within a virtualized environment.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of the client/server infrastructure to ensure continuous, secure, and highly available operations.
  • Planning and executing (partial) projects, contributing to the enhancement of the IT infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with external market partners and suppliers.
  • Participating in IT on-call duty.
Candidate Profile
  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in the specified area.
  • Strong knowledge in client/server virtualization, preferably based on VMware.
  • Basic knowledge and a strong affinity for IT security issues.
  • Desirable: Knowledge or interest in database administration, Linux servers, or cloud architectures.
