We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving forward and developing the marketing of our German commercial and tax practices, particularly in areas such as data and cyber security, intellectual property, corporate tax, and tax disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the profile of our commercial and tax practices
  • Support the development and delivery of campaigns and business development initiatives using various routes to market
  • Manage the creation of best-in-class sales collateral and legal updates
  • Develop client-specific pitch materials
  • Manage events, including those with a global focus
  • Collaborate with other support functions internationally to provide a seamless service to the business
  • Provide business intelligence on key competitors and marketplace trends, identifying ways to gain a competitive advantage
  • Translate client-facing practice group messaging into sector-specific marketing for our clients
  • Support key partners and stakeholders in client targeting and business development initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in a business development and marketing role, preferably in a professional services firm with international offices
  • Ability to prioritize activities that deliver value to our business
  • Previous experience in delivering or supporting the delivery of marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the German business and legal market

Our Marketing & BD team works across five key areas: Strategy, Clients, Pitch, Regions, and Operational.
