As a Sales and Project Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing tailored system and software solutions in collaboration with project leadership, development, and electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop customized system and software solutions in collaboration with project leadership, development, and electrical engineering.
  • Review and comment on customer specifications and operating instructions.
  • Provide technical and commercial advice, as well as process customer inquiries and tenders.
  • Conduct active and individual communication with customers and business partners.
  • Prepare detailed offers, taking into account regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology sectors, as well as production, logistics, and digitalization, including cost calculations for hardware and software, and project plans.
  • Prepare sales evaluations and customer analyses, as well as material flow analyses and calculations.
  • Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses, evaluate and optimize energy consumption influences.
  • Present solutions to customers and demonstrate the added value of our products.
  • Provide technical and commercial support during the implementation phase and coordinate closely with internal teams.
  • Support customers after sales.
  • Support negotiations with suppliers.
  • Manage and accompany internal optimization projects.
Requirements
  • Completed studies in the field of engineering or business engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable degree.
  • Several years of experience in sales and project management in a comparable position.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology sectors is desirable.
  • Hands-on mentality, enthusiasm for technology.
  • Willingness to learn about commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements to prepare professional offers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent, customer- and team-oriented working style.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Very good German language skills and good English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Valid driver's license (class B, car).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
