Integration Security Specialist

The Enterprise Application Integration Platforms division is a pivotal unit within the Digital Experience Platforms Corporate IT sector. This department is responsible for seamlessly connecting partners and consumers to the ZEISS digital ecosystem, ensuring that numerous applications can exchange data securely both internally and externally. ZEISS entrusts this team with the critical task of safeguarding data privacy and maintaining the highest levels of security.
As a Security Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to establish and uphold essential security standards for integrations, adhering to contemporary best practices. You will provide guidance to your colleagues on security matters, contribute to the development of solution concepts, and disseminate your expertise within cross-functional security communities. Additionally, you will serve as the liaison to the company's information security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define technical specifications related to security for interface development.
- Engage in the selection of communication protocols during the solution design phase.
- Assist business analysts in crafting solution designs that address all security considerations.
- Coordinate various security assessments, produce digital informational materials, and develop training programs.
- Design and manage the authorization framework within integration systems.
- Regularly document the security status and maintain periodic interactions with security architects.
- Collaborate with the information security team to implement and enhance global security policies.
- Actively seek improved and safer solutions to bolster IT security within the integration landscape.
Candidate Profile
- A successfully completed degree in IT security, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable relevant IT qualification.
- Substantial experience in the security domain, encompassing knowledge of: Cybersecurity measures and solutions, fundamental safety techniques, secure development lifecycle testing, and general cybersecurity methodologies.
- A strong interest in legal and regulatory requirements concerning security in an integration context.
- Prior experience in process integration environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both English and German is essential.
