Integration Security Specialist

The Enterprise Application Integration Platforms division is a crucial component of the Digital Experience Platforms within the Corporate IT framework at ZEISS. This division plays a vital role in connecting partners and consumers to ZEISS's digital ecosystem, facilitating seamless data exchange across numerous applications both internally and externally. ZEISS entrusts this team with the responsibility of safeguarding data privacy and ensuring the highest levels of security.
As a Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in establishing the essential security protocols for integrations, ensuring adherence to contemporary standards across all integration processes. Your expertise will guide colleagues on security matters, contribute to the development of solution concepts, and foster knowledge sharing within cross-functional security communities. Additionally, you will serve as the liaison to the company's information security team.
Key Responsibilities
Define technical specifications related to security for interface development. Engage in the selection of communication protocols during the solution design phase. Assist business analysts in crafting solution designs addressing security challenges. Coordinate various security assessments, develop informational materials, and conduct training sessions. Design and manage the authorization framework within integration systems. Regularly document the security posture and maintain periodic interactions with security architects. Collaborate with information security to implement and enhance global security policies. Proactively seek improved and safer solutions to bolster IT security within the integration landscape.Candidate Profile
A completed degree in IT security, computer science, business informatics, or a related field. Substantial experience in the security domain, including knowledge of: Cybersecurity measures and solutions, fundamental safety techniques, secure development lifecycle testing, and general cybersecurity methodologies. A strong interest in legal and regulatory frameworks governing security in integration environments. Previous experience in process integration is advantageous. Proficiency in both English and German is essential.Required Skills
