Senior Specialist in Information Security for Operational Technology
Become a pivotal member of the InfoSec Advisory Services division at ZEISS, where you will significantly influence the enhancement of security measures within our operational environments. As a Senior Specialist in Information Security for Operational Technology, your expertise will be crucial in developing and executing the OT Security framework, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on safeguarding information assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and refine the OT Security framework and associated policies.
- Perform comprehensive risk evaluations, pinpoint potential threats, and create effective mitigation plans.
- Engage with both internal and external partners to ensure alignment of security initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Oversee and improve the efficiency of security systems and protocols.
- Assess and suggest innovative security technologies and methodologies, while providing guidance to ZEISS divisions and stakeholders on comprehensive OT Security practices.
- Design and implement security awareness training initiatives for personnel.
- Assist in investigations of security incidents and conduct thorough root cause analyses.
- Collaborate with various departments across the organization on OT Security issues.
- Lead and support projects related to OT Security initiatives.
- Hold a degree in Information Security or possess equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Have 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, OT, or Information Security domains.
- Familiarity with OT Security standards, including IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82r (2/3).
- Proficiency in emerging technologies and a methodical, independent work style.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with a practical and results-driven approach.
- Proficient in English and German; knowledge of additional languages (French, Spanish) is a plus.
