Senior Cybersecurity Advisor for Operational Technology

As a key member of the InfoSec Advisory Services team at ZEISS, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying the security framework of our operational sectors. In the capacity of a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor for Operational Technology, your expertise will be instrumental in formulating and executing the OT Security strategy, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on safeguarding information assets.

Responsibilities include:

Formulating and refining the OT Security strategy and policies at ZEISS. Performing risk evaluations, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation plans. Engaging with both internal and external partners to ensure alignment of security strategies with organizational objectives. Overseeing and enhancing the efficacy of security systems and protocols. Assessing and recommending innovative security technologies and practices, while providing guidance to ZEISS operations and stakeholders on comprehensive OT Security matters. Designing and implementing security awareness training initiatives for personnel. Assisting in security incident investigations and conducting root cause analyses. Collaborating with various departments across the organization on OT Security issues. Leading and supporting projects related to OT Security initiatives. Possessing a degree in Information Security or equivalent qualifications and experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT, OT, or Information Security domains. Familiarity with OT Security industry standards, including IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82r (2/3). Proficiency in emerging technologies and a methodical, independent work style. Strong stakeholder management capabilities with a practical and results-driven approach. Proficient in English and German; knowledge of additional languages (French, Spanish) is a plus.
