Your Tasks

  • Support for the Finance Team: You will help with the creation of financial calculations, periodic reports, and final checks
  • Coordination with the Accounting Shared Service Center: You will be the interface between the Shared Service Center and the accountants of the subsidiary companies. You will support with the monthly forecast of income and expenses, internal company transactions, and the accounting of activities related to state-funded projects
  • Project Management: You will take over various administrative and organizational tasks related to state-funded projects at the German Research Center
  • Support for Project Managers: You will help with the preparation of proposals, applications, process management, and the creation of purchase orders and documentation

What You Bring

  • Professional Experience: You bring relevant practical experience in the field of administration, ideally in an international work environment
  • Financial and Project Management Knowledge: Basic knowledge of accounting or finance is an advantage, as is experience in project management or working with state-funded projects
  • IT Knowledge: You are proficient in MS Office and have well-developed organizational skills
  • Work Style: You are characterized by a quick understanding, high attention to detail, and a service-oriented approach. You work independently and are willing to take on responsibility
  • Languages: You are fluent in written and spoken business English. Knowledge of Chinese and German is a plus
