Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at dean&david. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to healthy, fresh, and sustainable food options
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
- Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs
- Collaborate with our purchasing team to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery of ingredients
- Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of fresh produce
- Implement and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
- Monitor and control kitchen expenses to ensure profitability
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head of Culinary Operations in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and suppliers
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
