Your Mission

The Technical Solutions Consultant will be instrumental in the technical evaluation of requests for proposals and tenders, ensuring the effective planning and execution of intricate international installation projects. This role demands a technically proficient individual with robust project management skills and exceptional communication and coordination abilities, capable of guiding a team through the tendering process while collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical evaluation of requests for proposals and tenders related to project planning and execution of complex international installation projects;
  • Management and coordination of the technical planning team throughout the tendering process;
  • Independent design and implementation planning of media and lighting installations;
  • Review and validation of planning documents submitted by clients;
  • Assistance in preparing layout and detailed plans, renderings, sketches, block diagrams, and other technical documentation for our proposals;
  • Preparation of design reports and technical risk assessments;
  • Development of preliminary timelines and construction schedules;
  • Facilitating internal and external project meetings;
  • Providing technical consulting and coordination with our clients;
  • Negotiating and collaborating with our suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Working in conjunction with technical planning, commercial project management, procurement, and other business units.
Your Profile
  • Degree and/or substantial experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Audio-Visual (AV) Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Several years of experience in technical solutions consulting, project management, or a related field, ideally within the AV, lighting, or media installation sectors.
  • Strong grasp of technical project planning, execution, and documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of the AVL industry, particularly in museums, exhibitions, experience centers, and other innovative multimedia installations.
  • Proficient in both German and English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in providing technical consulting and coordination with clients, ensuring their needs are met while offering expert guidance.
  • Team-oriented: Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and team leadership.
  • Adaptable and flexible: Comfortable working in fast-paced and dynamic environments, especially on international projects that may involve cross-cultural communication.
