Position: Kinaxis Solutions Architect

Type: Contractual Role

Work Arrangement: Remote

Project Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel across Europe, depending on project needs

Language Proficiency: English required; German preferred

Job Overview:

  • Act as the principal architect for Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations, ensuring that the architectural framework, functionalities, and operations align with enterprise standards.
  • Engage in comprehensive sessions to uncover customer business requirements and create detailed specifications documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to comprehend their needs, propose effective solutions, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
  • Configure the system to meet business needs, designing and setting up various components such as worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
  • Conduct integration testing during the System Integration Testing phase.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure system meets user expectations.
  • Design planning solutions utilizing RapidResponse and MRP to achieve specific business objectives, focusing on interfaces, workflows, and data management/migration.
  • Work alongside functional teams to promote the adoption of standardized business practices.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of system resources, including worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
  • Understand the integration of Kinaxis with primary ERP systems for both inbound and outbound interfaces, including workflow development and preparation of functional specifications for enhancements and reports.
  • Interact with clients across various time zones, requiring flexibility in work hours.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in implementing various Kinaxis RapidResponse modules, such as Supply Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, and more.
  • Comprehensive project experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in designing solutions within RapidResponse.
  • Hands-on experience in Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting, and various planning methodologies.
  • Experience in maintaining Supply Chain Planning Master Data.
  • Knowledge of integrating planning functions with manufacturing, quality, materials management, and other operational areas.
  • Familiarity with SAP MRP, PP, and APO.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a passion for customer-facing roles.
  • Certification as a Kinaxis RapidResponse Author or Contributor.
