Position: Kinaxis Solutions Architect
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Travel Requirements: Up to 20% across Europe based on project needs
Language Proficiency: English (required), German (preferred)
Role Overview:
The Kinaxis Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in the architecture and implementation of Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the delivery architecture and operational capabilities to ensure consistency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design of Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Engage in comprehensive customer requirement analysis sessions and create detailed specifications documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, propose solutions, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
- Configure the system to meet business needs, including the design and setup of various resources such as worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
- Conduct integration testing during the System Integration Testing phase.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure system functionality meets user expectations.
- Architect planning solutions utilizing RapidResponse and MRP to achieve specific business objectives, managing interfaces, workflows, and data management/migration.
- Work closely with functional teams to promote the adoption of standardized business practices.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of resources like worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
- Understand the integration of Kinaxis with ERP systems for inbound and outbound interfaces, including query development and preparation of functional specifications for enhancements.
- Interact with clients across various time zones, requiring flexibility in work hours.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in implementing various Kinaxis RapidResponse modules, including Supply Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, and others.
- Comprehensive project experience utilizing Kinaxis RapidResponse.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing solutions within RapidResponse.
- Hands-on expertise in Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting, MRP, and related areas.
- Proficient in Supply Chain Planning Master Data Maintenance.
- Knowledge of integrating planning functions with manufacturing, quality, materials management, and other operational areas.
- Familiarity with SAP MRP, PP, and APO.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a passion for customer-facing roles.
- Possession of Kinaxis RapidResponse Author or Contributor Certification is a plus.
