Position: Kinaxis Solutions Architect

Work Arrangement: Remote

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Travel Requirements: Up to 20% travel across Europe based on project needs

Language Proficiency: English (required), German (preferred)

Job Overview:

  • Act as the principal architect for Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations, ensuring uniformity in delivery architecture, capabilities, and operations across the organization.
  • Engage in comprehensive customer business requirements analysis and produce detailed requirements documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to grasp their needs, offer tailored solutions, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
  • Configure the system to align with business needs, designing and setting up various components such as worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
  • Conduct integration testing during the System Integration Testing phase.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure system functionality meets user expectations.
  • Design planning solutions utilizing RapidResponse and MRP to achieve specified business objectives, while managing interfaces, workflows, and data handling/migration.
  • Work closely with functional teams to promote the adoption of standardized business practices.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of system resources, including worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
  • Understand the integration of Kinaxis with primary ERP systems for both inbound and outbound interfaces, developing queries and preparing detailed functional specifications for enhancements and reports.
  • Interact with clients across various time zones, demonstrating flexibility in work hours as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in implementing various Kinaxis RapidResponse modules, including Supply Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, ATP, Aggregate Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
  • Comprehensive project experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse.

Preferred Expertise:

  • Experience in designing solutions within RapidResponse.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting, Consumption-based planning, MRP, MPS, and Capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Planning Master Data Maintenance, including Material Master, BOM, Work center, and Vendor Master.
  • Understanding of the integration of Planning functions with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, and Logistics.
  • Experience with SAP MRP, PP, and APO.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a passion for customer-facing roles.
  • Certification as a Kinaxis RapidResponse Author or Contributor.
