Position: Kinaxis Solutions Architect
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Travel Requirements: Up to 20% across Europe based on project needs
Language Proficiency: English (required), German (preferred)
Role Overview:
- Act as the principal architect for Kinaxis RapidResponse deployments, ensuring uniformity in delivery architecture, capabilities, and operations across the organization.
- Engage in comprehensive customer business requirements analysis and produce detailed specifications documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to comprehend their needs, provide tailored solutions, and transform requirements into actionable plans.
- Configure the system to align with business needs, designing and setting up various resources such as worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
- Conduct integration testing during the System Integration Testing phase.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure system functionality meets user expectations.
- Design planning solutions utilizing RapidResponse and MRP to achieve specified business objectives, while managing interfaces, workflows, and data management/migration.
- Work alongside the functional team to promote the adoption of standardized business practices.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of resources including worksheets, alerts, metrics, and scorecards.
- Understand the integration of Kinaxis with primary ERP systems for both inbound and outbound interfaces, workflows, and the preparation of detailed functional specifications for enhancements, layouts, and reports.
- Interact with clients across various time zones, demonstrating flexibility in working hours as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in implementing various Kinaxis RapidResponse modules, including Supply Planning, Forecasting, Demand Planning, ATP, Aggregate Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Attribute Based Planning, and Sales & Operations Planning.
- Comprehensive project experience utilizing Kinaxis RapidResponse.
Preferred Expertise:
- Experience in designing solutions within RapidResponse.
- Hands-on experience in Demand Planning, Statistical Forecasting, Consumption-based planning, Re-order point planning, MRP, MPS, Long-term Planning, Capacity planning, and Production scheduling.
- Proficient in Supply Chain Planning Master Data Maintenance, including Material Master, BOM, Work center, Routings, Vendor Master, Customer Master, Info records, source list, Schedule agreements, and contracts.
- Knowledge and experience in integrating Planning functions with Manufacturing, Quality, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Sourcing, Logistics, and Costing functions.
- Familiarity with SAP MRP, PP, and APO.
- A strong inclination towards customer-facing roles, complemented by excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Possession of Kinaxis RapidResponse Author certification or Contributor Certification is advantageous.
