Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator

Georgetown University in Qatar is dedicated to advancing the field of oncology through comprehensive research and patient care. We are seeking a Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team in managing clinical trials aimed at preventing, treating, and curing cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the coordination of clinical trials from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Engage with study participants, facilitating informed consent processes in line with institutional policies.
  • Schedule and manage study-related procedures, prioritizing patient safety and protocol compliance.
  • Coordinate the collection of research specimens, providing training to staff involved in clinical trials.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS), supporting effective financial oversight of trials.
  • Collaborate with Data Managers to ensure documentation accuracy and assist in resolving queries promptly.
  • Organize sponsor meetings and report serious adverse events in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison among hospital staff, physicians, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth trial operations.
  • Establish regular meetings for the Disease Group, preparing agendas and documenting minutes for follow-up actions.
  • Support the Disease Group in managing trial portfolios and prioritizing new research initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific or health-related discipline.
  • Three to five years of experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
