Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator

Position Overview

The Oncology Clinical Trials Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing phase I, II, and III clinical trials within our esteemed research center. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies while providing compassionate care to our participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the comprehensive management of assigned clinical trials throughout their lifecycle.
  • Engage with study participants to obtain informed consent in alignment with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate and schedule study-related procedures, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and maintaining patient safety.
  • Facilitate the collection of research specimens as per protocol requirements and provide training for staff involved in clinical trials.
  • Maintain the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) with accurate patient information and critical timelines to support effective financial oversight.
  • Collaborate with Data Managers to ensure the integrity and completeness of clinical trial documentation, addressing queries promptly.
  • Organize and document sponsor meetings, including necessary reporting of serious adverse events in accordance with protocols.
  • Act as a liaison among hospital staff, physicians, and regulatory bodies to streamline communication and compliance.
  • Establish regular meetings for designated research groups, preparing agendas and documenting outcomes to ensure accountability.
  • Support the initiation of new studies by liaising with regulatory staff and coordinating the activation process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or health-related discipline.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in clinical research is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also being an effective team player.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $44,000 and $73,406.80, influenced by various factors including qualifications, experience, and institutional needs.
