About the Role

As a Lead AI Solutions Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and strategic vision of our AI-driven platform. Your role will involve leading the development and maintenance of our AI infrastructure, managing the implementation of machine learning models, and ensuring smooth integration with our backend systems. We are looking for someone who is passionate about building exceptional products, possesses strong leadership skills, and thrives in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will act as a key liaison between backend engineering and machine learning, focusing on establishing and managing our AI Platform infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions from concept to execution.
  • Overseeing the exploration, testing, and implementation of advanced machine learning models to address complex challenges and enhance platform capabilities.
  • Collaborating with Product Owners, Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Designing and implementing efficient APIs to facilitate data processing and integration of machine learning models.
  • Contributing to the improvement and maintenance of AI infrastructure, tools, and frameworks to ensure the scalability and reliability of AI solutions.
  • Assessing the performance of AI models using relevant metrics and refining designs to achieve optimal results.
  • Enhancing the performance and scalability of backend systems to ensure a seamless user experience.
  • Keeping up with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies, and actively participating in knowledge sharing across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A higher degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is advantageous.
  • At least 8 years of software development experience with proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and a deep understanding of asynchronous programming, APIs, and database management.
  • Demonstrated experience with RAG, LangChain, and Vector databases.
  • Thorough understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks such as NLU/NLP and LLMs.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a talent for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to lead projects to successful completion.
  • Publications or contributions to the AI field (e.g., research papers, open-source projects) are considered a plus.
