We are currently seeking a (Senior) Sustainability Management Consultant (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team of product managers, sustainability advisors, and sales professionals. Together, we are venturing into a promising new business area, offering exceptional software solutions for sustainability management to corporate clients across various industries. Our software offerings are complemented by expert consulting services focused on sustainability management and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent consulting support for diverse corporate clients across multiple sectors.
  • Assist organizations in establishing systematic sustainability management practices.
  • Develop customized sustainability strategies and actionable measures to enhance sustainability performance.
  • Conduct comprehensive stakeholder, product, risk, and materiality assessments throughout the value chain.
  • Facilitate constructive stakeholder dialogues.
  • Engage in ongoing research and acquisition of pertinent knowledge, particularly in regulatory frameworks.
  • Organize and lead webinars and training sessions for businesses on sustainability-related topics.
  • Optional: Assist in the development of carbon footprints, focusing on the identification and collection of relevant emission data.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in sustainability management, environmental management, economics, political science, environmental science, natural sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional experience as a sustainability consultant, sustainability manager, or environmental officer, ideally with a focus on carbon accounting.
  • Familiarity with applicable (industry) standards, particularly regulations such as CSRD/ESRS for reporting and the GHG Protocol.
  • A passion for consulting and the ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills when interacting with clients.
  • A self-directed work style, coupled with a collaborative spirit and supportive attitude towards colleagues.
  • Preferred: A strong affinity for digital tools and software solutions.
