(Junior) Sustainability Consultant in ESG Advisory & Communication (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in consulting projects related to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) or the EU Taxonomy, supporting our clients in the practical implementation of these exciting sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Guide our clients towards integrated reporting of financial and ESG information.
  • Draft sustainability reports in accordance with the new standards set by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) or the EU Taxonomy.
  • Contribute to the development and design of ESG communication strategies for our clients.
  • Manage communication with clients, along with planning and organizational tasks, while maintaining close collaboration with various departments within the client organizations and working alongside colleagues from other KPMG divisions, both nationally and internationally.
Your Profile
  • You will join us as a (Junior) Sustainability Consultant in ESG Advisory & Communication (m/f/d) with a completed degree in humanities (e.g., communication, German studies, political science) or social sciences.
  • You have a keen interest in content creation and ideally possess initial experience in producing editorial and journalistic material.
  • You are enthusiastic about ESG topics and enjoy delving into complex issues and regulations.
  • You are open to utilizing tools, potentially including AI.
  • Your strengths include a quick grasp of concepts, a structured approach to work, and a proactive mindset.
  • Additionally, you are a true team player.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, along with the necessary flexibility for the auditing and consulting environment, complete your qualifications.
