PLM Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup and configuration of the new Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework utilizing Siemens TeamCenter and its associated interfaces (such as ERP and supplier collaboration platforms).
  • Collaborate with service providers to ensure the upkeep and monitoring of engineering systems.
  • Provide technical assistance for existing engineering systems in operation (including ALM, PLM, Technical Data Exchange solutions, CAx tools, etc., along with their interfaces).
  • Conduct inspections of installed and configured systems, validate their performance, and identify any issues in collaboration with functional leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Enhance current systems and processes for improved efficiency.
  • Gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and subsequently propose and implement suitable solutions.
  • Evaluate various recommendations and proposals for system modifications and replacements based on criteria such as organizational feasibility, infrastructure, usability, technology, and technical challenges, presenting a comparative analysis to aid decision-making.

Qualifications for the PLM Support Engineer:

  • A degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in PLM technical support and/or deployment.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Siemens TeamCenter (including Active Workspace, RAC, Visualization, PLM XML and Stylesheet, BMIDE, Workflows, etc.).
  • Certification in TeamCenter administration is required.
  • Familiarity with CAD systems, particularly Catia V5, is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in office software and computer applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, with proficiency in French and/or German being a plus.
