About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Technical Support Engineer to join our team at INEOS Automotive. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our PLM infrastructure based on Siemens TeamCenter and its interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure new PLM infrastructure based on Siemens TeamCenter and its interfaces.
- Coordinate with service providers for maintenance and monitoring of engineering systems.
- Provide technical support for existing engineering systems, including ALM, PLM, Technical Data Exchange solution, CAx tools, and interfaces.
- Inspect installed and configured systems, validate their functioning, and identify errors with functional leaders and business owners.
- Optimize existing systems and processes.
- Capture and analyze business requirements, define technical requirements, and propose and implement corresponding solutions.
- Compare different recommendations and proposals for system modifications and replacements based on organizational feasibility, infrastructure, usability, technology used, technical challenges, and present a comparative report to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- University degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or related area.
- Strong experience in PLM technical support and/or deployment.
- Proven experience with Siemens TeamCenter (Active Workspace and RAC, Visualization, PLM XML and Stylesheet, BMIDE, Workflows, etc.).
- Certified in TeamCenter administration.
- Familiar with CAD systems, preferably with Catia V5.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Outstanding office software/computer skills.
- Able to communicate (written and verbally) in English, French, and/or German.
