Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the setup and configuration of the latest PLM framework utilizing Siemens TeamCenter and its associated interfaces (such as ERP and supplier collaboration platforms).
- Collaborate with service providers to ensure the upkeep and monitoring of engineering systems.
- Provide technical assistance for existing engineering systems in operation (including ALM, PLM, Technical Data Exchange solutions, CAx tools, etc., along with their interfaces).
- Evaluate the installed and configured systems, confirm their operational status, and identify any issues in conjunction with functional leaders and business stakeholders.
- Enhance current systems and workflows for improved efficiency.
- Gather and assess business needs, translating them into technical specifications, and subsequently propose and implement suitable solutions.
- Analyze various recommendations and proposals for system adjustments and replacements based on criteria such as organizational viability, infrastructure, user-friendliness, technology employed, and technical hurdles, and present a comparative analysis to aid decision-making.
Qualifications for the PLM Support Engineer:
- A degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in PLM technical support and/or implementation.
- Demonstrated expertise with Siemens TeamCenter (including Active Workspace and RAC, Visualization, PLM XML and Stylesheet, BMIDE, Workflows, etc.).
- Certification in TeamCenter administration is required.
- Familiarity with CAD systems, particularly Catia V5, is advantageous.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Proficient in office software and computer applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, with proficiency in French and/or German being a plus.
