Sales Director

Johnson Electric Group is a leading provider of innovative motion systems and components for automotive applications and other electrical applications. Our motion solutions include car seats, headlamps, thermal management related actuators for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning in cars, and more.
We are seeking a Sales Manager for our site in Stuttgart, Germany to drive sustainable and profitable growth for our allocated Business Unit in Europe, focusing on automotive industry related products. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for specific customer accounts in terms of relationship, profitability, growth, reporting, budgeting, and strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the current business with existing allocated customers, maintaining profitable price levels.
- Acquire new profitable business with existing or new customers.
- Develop a mid-to-long-term strategy for allocated applications and customers to ensure profitable growth.
- Manage budget elaboration on time and monitor real sales and forecasts to understand and manage deviations.
- Have a reliable business plan on Salesforce.com (monthly update).
- Support the execution of Key-Projects, particularly in Global Projects and cross-functional issues resolution.
- Review new contracts with the legal department and Sales Director.
- Ensure all process flows are respected and started on time.
Our Requirements:
- Completed business degree or comparable technical qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically.
- Relevant experience in a similar position.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Strong selling, marketing, and negotiating skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good technical understanding.
- Open-minded personality with a positive attitude, willing to travel mainly within Europe.
