Job Summary:

Nova Biomedical is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator Infrastructure to join our team. As a primary and 2nd Line IT Support person, you will be responsible for resolving and coordinating issues related to the local IT Infrastructure, maintaining the local IT Infrastructure, and providing support to users in all European subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client and Asset Management: Provisioning of client hardware, including notebooks (Windows 10/11 and VolP telephony), and managing client and asset inventory.
  • Mobile Device Management: Mobile device (iOS, Android) provisioning, device configuration, and setup, as well as providing support for mobile devices.
  • Server and Storage Management: Setting up new (physical and virtual) servers, monitoring, maintaining, and updating servers, storage, and network infrastructure.
  • Problem Management and Troubleshooting: Resolving technical issues and providing remote support to ensure smooth operation in day-to-day business as part of 1st and 2nd level support.
  • Local Firewall Configuration Support: Supporting configuration changes, understanding and defining requests, and communicating with the US team, while configuration access is restricted to senior team members.
  • IT Infrastructure Support: Working with the Microsoft System Center family of administrative tools, Microsoft 365, Exchange Server, network hardware (LAN/WAN), and Microsoft Remote Server Administration tools.
  • SharePoint Online Collaboration: Assisting subsidiaries with projects related to the SharePoint Online collaboration platform and related processes.
  • IT Audits: Conducting audits of the local IT infrastructure in each subsidiary to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • SAP User Support: Providing support to users on SAP-related issues.
  • Digitization Projects: Supporting the introduction of new software and digitization projects across various specialist areas.
  • Special IT Projects: Working on special IT projects and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (IT) or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • IT Experience: A minimum of 3 years of IT/Network administration experience in 1st and 2nd Line IT Support, especially for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and/or French and English (written and oral).
  • IT Skills: Advanced IT user skills for Microsoft 365 Office, especially in combination with SharePoint Online, and familiarity with Information Security standards like IS027001.
  • Other Requirements: Basic understanding of SAP, understanding of GDPR requirements, good knowledge and experience in network administration, EDR Software, VPN, Firewalls, and VolP, and solid understanding of wired and wireless networking solutions, cabling needs, firewalling, and routers.
  • Travel Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel within Europe for up to 20% of total working time.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Intercultural skills (Europe/USA) are a plus.
